Join The Club

If you are a complete beginner just interested in possibly giving it a go, please feel free to get in touch for a chat using our Contact Form or directly on

Normally we will forward your details to our club coach who is happy to chat with you and discuss any concerns you may have. We like to encourage you to visit the club and have a quick try before signing up to a beginner course but our coach will tell you everything you need to know.

If you are an experienced archer looking for somewhere new to shoot, or maybe you have been having some time out and want to get back into archery, our club coach will normally invite you to come along to shoot and make a brief assessment of your shooting in terms of safety. All being well you will be eligible to join the club immediately.

During the year we run regular beginner courses, usually one through the summer months and one during the winter months. The course offers full coaching by Archery GB licensed coaches in a safe environment and includes the use of all club equipment needed for the course.

Junior club membership fee – £15 per annum
One off joining fee – £10
County & regional association fee – £5 per annum

Recurve shooting fee – £2.00 per session

Like most clubs in the country, we insist that anyone shooting with us is a member of Archery GB, as this includes insurance cover. Archery GB club member charges are in the region of £50 per annum for adults & £15 per annum for juniors.
